I'm doing it for cancer!

I’m challenging myself to get active to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.

I personally have a cancer gene in my family with many of my family members passing from the horrible disease. Most recently being my Nan who i loved dearly. Noreen was an Assyrian immigrant from Iraq who escaped war and terrorism. She was the strongest women i have ever met and i was blessed to have her in my life for 18 years. Noreen faced cancer 3 times in her lifetime finally with her last diagnosis being undetected and our family being told that nothing could be done.  My Nan fought to the very end staying strong for us all.
