BSSC will Do It for Cancer in 2023!
Cancer is an insidious disease and too many members of our community have been impacted either directly or indirectly, either in the past or at present. Life can deliver difficulties such as these, but we can take these moments and use them as opportunities to come together and connect as a community, supporting one another.
It is due to this that Burpengary State Secondary College's Do It for Cancer aims to achieve 3 things:
1. let students know that they are not alone when it comes to suffering and difficult circumstances.
2. Raise awareness about what cancer is and how it affects our community.
3. Make a difference by doing something about it and fundraising for a great cause.
We're challenging each other to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer-free future.
Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we're raising funds to show our support.
