🏉💗 Penalty Cancer! – Supporting Cancer Council Queensland 💗🏉
Bundaberg Junior Rugby League is proud to be hosting our Penalty Cancer! Round on 14th June 2026 in support of Cancer Council Queensland and their mission for a cancer free future.
Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we’re bringing our rugby league community together to raise funds, raise awareness, and show support for the many families impacted by cancer.
Our day will be filled with rugby league, raffles, pink socks, coloured hair spray, head shaving, and plenty of community spirit — all while raising much-needed funds for cancer research and vital support services for Australians living with cancer.
And this year, our BJRL Chairperson/Ground Manager Gaye has thrown out a challenge to the community… 😲✂️
If we can raise $5000, Gaye will shave her head live at the grounds!
