I’m doing it for cancer!
For the first time in five years, I’m shaving off all my long hair and I’m doing it for my mate Joe.
Joe and I have been mates since junior high school and in May this year he was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. Watching him take on treatment with grit, humour, and absolute determination has been nothing short of inspiring. If he can face cancer head on the least I can do is lose a bit of hair to stand beside him.
So I’m taking part in the Cancer Council shave to raise money for cancer research support services and families going through the toughest fight of their lives. Every dollar helps and every donation shows Joe he’s got a whole crew behind him.
