I’m doing it for cancer!

On Monday, the 24th of August Jan Appleby, Julie O'Hara Sizer and I are taking the plunge into the cold and wintery ocean for a very good cause. We will be shivering our butts off to raise money for the Cancer Council Daffodil Day Dip in the sea at Christies Beach. I love the cool weather but I know that this will be a little colder than I'd prefer. This fundraising will be especially poignant for me as we learned that a dear friend, Chris Ingoe died on 13th June this year, his youngest daughter, Olivia (my God-daughter) lost her battle with cancer on 21/8/2023 aged only 30. I'd appreciate any donation, no matter how small or encouragement and warm hugs on the day! Time to be confirmed, we need to check the tides.
