Christmas Fundraiser for Cancer Council

Merry Christmas!

We hope you enjoyed your gingerbread. It was handmade with love and cheer just like it has been every other year. This year, we want to use this as an opportunity to share that Christmas spirit with people who might feel like they have very little to be joyful about at all. Please kindly consider donating to our first ever ‘Gingerbread for Good’ fundraiser to help support Cancer Council in its excellent work.

Cancer Council supports people who are affected by cancer through all stages of their journey, from the initial period of worry, stress and grief surrounding their diagnosis, through all of their treatments, and right through to the end for some. Especially close to our hearts is the work that the Cancer Council does to support cancer survivors (anyone living after a diagnosis of cancer), emotionally, financially, physically, and in so many other ways. Almost all of us has felt the impact of cancer on a person’s life very personally through family, friends, or even self and understands the transformative power that even a small amount of outside help can have for a person and their family facing one of the most frightening diseases. This Christmas, we want to in our very small try to share some joy with people in this situation by helping Cancer Council to continue to serve them so well.

We would be extremely grateful for any donations that you might consider making to this cause. Even a few dollars can go an enormous way, especially when we all give together. Please consider our request to transform a little gingerbread into something that could be life changing.
