I’m doing it for cancer!
Mum and I were having a movie night and we picked "The Life List". At the end of the movie, I said to mum "It must be so hard to have cancer. I want to raise money for cancer and cut my hair". Everyone knows someone who's had cancer and/or has been effected by this deadly disease. My Grandma was diagnosed in 2023 and she is one of the most important females in my life. I don't know what I'd do without her.
So I’m challenging myself to shave my hair to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.
Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m losing my locks to raise funds and show my support.
Please sponsor me to support cancer research and provide vital services for Australians living with cancer.
The big shave will happen on Sunday 2nd November, so let's start raising as much as we can.
Together, we can free the future from cancer.
