The Marryatville High School Year 12 class of 2026 and staff are challenging themselves to shave or cut their hair to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.

Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we're losing our locks to raise funds and show our support.

Please sponsor us to support cancer research and provide vital services for Australians living with cancer.

Thank you for your generous donation. Together, we can free the future from cancer.

My Why

Friday 19th Jun
In 2023, I lost my beautiful Aunty Joy to liver cancer. She was such a special person, and losing her had a huge impact on my family and me. In her memory, I'll be cutting my hair and raising money to support life-changing cancer research, patient support services, cancer prevention programs, and advocacy that drives meaningful policy change. This is my way of honouring her while helping make a difference for others who are facing cancer and for the families who are walking through the same heartbreak. As a Class Captain for Tirntu, this fundraiser is even more meaningful because our house charity is Cancer Council. It feels incredibly special to be able to support a cause that is so close to my heart while also representing my house and giving back to a charity that makes such an important difference. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help those affected by cancer.

Thank you to my Supporters
