Lungs for Life

Welcome to Lungs for Life, a community-led team under the Ruby’s Breath of Hope Foundation, committed to raising awareness and funds for lung cancer research and support services across Australia.

This campaign is deeply personal. I'm Ruby, 16 years old, and I've watched cancer touch the lives of those I love—my Nanna battled breast cancer when I was just 11, and my great aunt is currently facing terminal lung cancer. These experiences have shaped me. They've taught me the importance of hope, the urgency of support, and the power of action.

Through this initiative, we’re collecting donations to fuel:

• Lung cancer research: Supporting innovation in treatment, early detection, and prevention

• Public education: Breaking down stigma and increasing awareness about who lung cancer affects

• Patient support services: Helping families and individuals navigate the emotional and practical challenges of diagnosis and care
