Off with the Whiskers

Off with the Whiskers

The boys at Lake Cathie Tavern have been growing their facial hair for far too long, and finally, something important enough has come along to justify the sacrifice.

On Saturday 22 August at 1pm, they're shaving it all off. The moustaches, the beards, whatever's been living on their faces. Gone. In support of their mate Jacob Fardy, who's currently rehearsing his burlesque routine (yes, really) as part of Stars of Hastings Dance for Cancer.

Jacob is raising funds for Cancer Council NSW, and the crew reckons the least they can do is lose the whiskers in his honour.

Every dollar raised here goes directly to cancer research, prevention programs and support services for people in our community. Cancer touches so many families in our region. This is one way a good group of mates is doing something about it.

Come down to the Tavern on the 22nd, witness the carnage, and chuck a few dollars in before the razors come out.
