I’m doing it for cancer!
Please join me for a Paint and Sip Fundraiser Party. A chilled out afternoon sipping wine and painting in the garden. It doesn't matter if you don't have skills like Picasso or Monet, but you can choose to work on one of the Van Gogh style painting kits on offer.
But seriously, it's okay if you've never painted before. It's a fun way to try it and there will be artistic guidance available if you need it.
And feel good for your participation as all proceeds will be going to Cancer Council SA.

When: Sunday 10th of November
Time: 12:30pm to 6:30pm
Where: At a location in SA postcode 5158. Address will be given when you make your $25- donation.
Cost: $25- per person, but larger donations to Cancer Council SA would be welcome and appreciated
What you'll get for your $25- :
- A glass of bubbly on arrival
- 2 hours of professional artist guidance
- Paint-by-numbers kit (most have a 40 x 50 cm canvas)
- A door prize ticket
- A selection of wine & non-alcoholic beverages will be provided but please feel welcome to bring a favourite beverage with you
***There will also be a raffle drawn at the event, for a gift hamper containing an easel, a paint by numbers kit, and a bottle of wine. Tickets can be purchased with additional donations via the event page. More details coming soon.****
How to join the party:
1. Make a donation of $25 or more per person to Cancer Council SA via this event page
2. Choose a paint-by-numbers kit shown in the images below and note the letter/s next to the image (but also read note below about selection) or choose to have a random kit allocated to you
3. Let me know, via sms 0418 143 328, that you've made your donation, your name, the letter next to the kit you would like or state "random" for a random kit choice
4. Let me know if you would like to attend in person or arrange collection of your kit to join from home. So, in your sms, state "Attending in person" or "Let's arrange collection"
Note about selecting pain-by-number kits:
To keep costs down, and to have access to a larger range of kits, I have purchased a selection of unframed canvas painting kits and have separately purchased canvas stretching & framing kits. I will be donating the kits to the cause and framing the canvases you choose myself. It would be helpful to have RSVP's with at least a few days notice but more notice would be better to allow enough time to frame each selected canvas in time for the event.
Please keep in mind that simpler designs may take less time to complete.
Unlike other paint n sip events, it's entirely possible that you may take home an unfinished painting kit, but please don't be disheartened. I have taken a lot of care in the selection to find kits that I hope you will feel empowered to complete later and proudly display on your walls at home.
I have selected all of the kits shown in the itemised gallery images below. I have labelled each kit with a letter or letters of the alphabet to the left of each image and the quantity available, to the right of the image, at the time of publication on this page.
