Every Little Bit Makes a Difference
I would like to thank the incredible community of GemLife Palmwoods for supporting me through my own cancer journey.
Being able to get out of our villa and participate in the variety of events available to us has been a blessing.
I am not the only cancer fighter. Many of you have already been through the journey, have lost family members and are fighting right now. Let's do this for event for all those who have lost, fought or have won the battle.
Cancer research has come leaps and bounds with immunology being a game changer for many. Cancer doesn't discriminate, it affects people of all ages. My cancer was discovered by the bowel screening program, so if you have one of those tests in the drawer at home, use it, it may save your life.
We are very lucky in the Sunshine Coast to have access to arguably, one of the best hospitals in the country. I could not speak highly enough of the care I have, and am receiving, from the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
