Sunflowers 4 sarcoma

By Susan Paton

Sunflowers Bring Joy

Cancer invaded my family's world in 2014 when my husband was diagnoised with a myxoid sarcoma.  Four years he struggled with this unwelcome intruder but in October 2018 his relentless & hard fought battle was over.

Sunflowers are a symbol of the fight against sarcoma in many countries around the world. We have, as a family, held many Sunflower 4 sarcoma days raising much needed funds to support research into ways to fight this disease & support families who find do themselves on this journey no one chooses to travel.

1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, so chances are, a friend or family member is already fighting. Or this is a journey yet to be travelled by someone you love.

Please show your support by visiting us at Bunnings Warehouse, cnr Creek & Wecker Rds, Mt Gravatt & purchase a sunflower, which will, in turn, bring joy to someone special in your world.

Together, we can free the future from cancer.
