Help me stand up to cancer

Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we're challenging each other to cut our hair
to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future. 

On the 10th of September, I will be donating 25cm of my hair to help create wigs for those experiencing hair loss from cancer treatment, reminding them they're never alone in their fight. 

Each dollar raised will help fund cancer research and provide vital services for Australians living with Cancer.

We hope ‘Do It For Cancer’ becomes a project that
is not only remembered for the funds we raise, but for the sense of belonging
and purpose that we hope to cultivate within the student body and the positive
difference we make in the lives of others. We envision ‘Do It For Cancer’ as leaving
behind a meaningful legacy, one that has a genuine impact on those it supports
and sets a strong example for future leadership teams to further establish as a
Newman College Tradition.
