I'm doing it for cancer!
I’m Trav and I have cerebral palsy.
Despite my disability and being in a wheelchair, I have an active lifestyle.
I go to the gym 2/3 times a week where I push myself to build up my body.
One of my favourite things about going to the gym is that I can show people that disable doesn’t mean unable.
In September of 2025, I lost my nan to lung cancer which she battled for three and a half months.
In2026 I wanted to challenge myself by doing 50,0000 sit-ups in a year to raise money for people fighting cancer.
I choose to Fundraise for the cancer counsel to honour my nans life and help people affected by cancer have the support they need.

Sunday 4th Jan Hi there my name is trav. I have cerebral palsy. This year I’m attempting to do 50,000 sit-ups in 52 weeks. I know this would be hard for anyone to do let alone anyone with a disability that means their muscles don’t listen to the brain but I’m a determined adult who doesn’t let it stop him from doing what he wants. Despite only starting on Thursday I have already done 1,272. If you see this I would appreciate it if you could please post my fundraiser link so I can get more sponsors.i chose to fundraise for the cancer council because in September 2025 I lost my grandmother who helped my mum raise me after a 4 month battle with lung cancer. Having a disabled child is hard so I was lucky mum had my grandparents to help her so I am doing this fundraiser to say thank you to my grandparents for helping to make me the person that I am today.
