The Do It For Cancer
community has raised
to free the future from cancer in 2021!
Friday, 4 February marked World Cancer Day and we wanted to take this opportunity to thank YOU, our Do It For Cancer community, for your incredible support last year. Despite another challenging year, because of your commitment and generosity, together you have raised over $3 million for a cancer free future!
What does $3 million mean for the community?
600,000 people impacted by cancer can access support and information resources, or
200,000 Aussie kids can be protected from harmful UV exposure through our SunSmart Schools Program, or
300 ground-breaking research projects to find new ways to diagnose, treat and prevent cancer can be funded.
How others did it
Katie ran 5km every
day for a month
“I lost my dad to kidney cancer, so I challenged myself to raise funds to fight the disease nobody deserves to get.”
Dan shaved his hair to free
the future from cancer
“My mum’s cousin was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I wanted to raise money in a way that would create a ‘buzz’.”
How your support makes a difference
in the past 20 years thanks to cancer research
from sun exposure to reduce incidences of skin cancer
last year to bring cancer patients and their families from home to treatment
through our 13 11 20 cancer support line each year
