I’m doing it for cancer!

After 4 and a half years of fighting, my mum lost her battle with small cell lung cancer that metastasised to her brain on the 15th April 2025. 

As well as this, my dad lost his fight with Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer) in 2007. From the time he had any sign of illness to his passing was 3 months. He passed away 2 months to the day after his 50th birthday.

In honour of her, I have decided to raise funds for cancer research by shaving my head. I am aiming to raise $500 at a minimum to find a cure for these awful diseases. Once this target is reached, I will shave off my hair.

While mun was alive, I always thought about shaving my head as she went through treatment... now I wish I had done it with her, rather than for her ??
