Candace: National Finalist for Ms Tasmania 2024

Between now and the 16th August, I’m challenging myself to support and raise money for the Cancer Council in in hopes of a cancer free future.

Can you believe that 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime? And did you also know that in the last 40 years, the cancer survival rate has increased from less than 50% to now 90%? And all of that is thanks to amazing research, trials and medicines that would not be possible without donations from fantastic people like you.

As part of my fundraising, I held a bake sale in my office at work and it was a HUGE success! Raising of $900!!!! I could not have been more thrilled with the result.
