I’m doing it for cancer!

I’m challenging myself to shave my hair to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.

Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m losing my locks to raise funds and show my support.

I started this journey with the hope of making people aware of how cancer impacts all of us. 

I wanted to do this in 2009 when I first started my GP journey in NZ. Unfortunately the GP practice didn’t support it…. So here we are in 2025, doing it!

I’m trying to fix a day for the shave in April… and have someone in mind to do it for me…!
