I’m doing it for cancer!
I’m hosting an event to support the Cancer Council and their mission to create a cancer-free future.
In 2019, I lost my mum, Carmel Clarke, after her long and courageous battle with cancer. Since then, I’ve done everything I can to contribute to cancer research, donating my time, my energy, and what I could do financially to help make a difference.
Earlier this year, my older brother Tom was also diagnosed with cancer. It’s been incredibly tough, but one thing I’ve noticed over the years is how much cancer treatments have improved. That progress is thanks to ongoing research, funded by everyday people like us who care enough to take action.
That’s why I’ll be taking part in the Einbunpin Festival again this year to raise funds for the Cancer Council. This isn’t just about my family, it’s about every family touched by cancer. If we all do a little, we can achieve a lot.
Let’s stand together, support each other, and work toward a future where no one has to face cancer alone.
