Supporting Steve's SA Five 50 ultra series run in memory of Murray Burdett


Since 2019 Steve has run the SA Five 50 ultra series which has inspired and encouraged an amazing group of runners each year to challenge themselves.

Every year I have participated in this Series, for the last 5 years, and this year will be my 6th year.

This year along with Steve I will be running to raise money for cancer research in memory of Steve's Dad, who passed away in October 2023.

Whilst I never met Steve's Dad I know Steve, and I'm sure that Steve owes some of his amazing character to his Father.


1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m raising funds to show my support.

Five Peaks

Monday 6th May
The first run of the Series this year Five Peaks is done.

As I have another crazy run coming up I paced myself and managed to get to the start of the 28k run just in time to meet up with my amazing wife, and we spent the rest of the day/run together.

Being able to spend important time with the ones we love is such a blessing.
